Recipes for the Morphy Richards Fastbake Breadmaker

Banana bread

Ingredients:

3 large tablespoons of vegetable oil
2 peeled bananas, peeled and cut lengthways in two
2 eggs
150 grammes of castor sugar
1 teaspoon of baking powder
half a teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda
260 grammes of plain flour

Directions:

1. Place all ingredients in the bread pan.
2. Select "dough" setting on the machine and mix all ingredients for between 4 - 5 minutes until everything is thoroughly mixed. After five minutes stop the machine.
3 Using a spatula, flatten the top of the mixture
4  Now it's time to bake ! Change the machine setting to "bake" and in around 50 minutes your loaf of banana bread should be ready. With a knitting needle or knife, test the inside of the load to see if it is ready. If when you pull it out there is dough on the needle/knife then then continue to bake for another 12 minutes
5 Your bread is now ready ! Let it cool down and enjoy !

Plain White Loaf

Ingredients:

7 grammes of active baking yeast
1 teaspoon of salt
1 tablespoon of castor sugar
2 tablespoon of dried milk powder
275 ml of warm water
1 tablespoon of soft butter
400 grammes of bread flour

Directions:

This is a very simple recipe. After mixing all the ingredients together place them mixture into the bread pan, select the appropriate setting, select "start" and allow the bread to cook. Easy !
